Man Stabbed to Death in Seaside Moshav

A 61-year-old man was found stabbed to death Monday evening at the entrance to a house in a moshav by the sea.

A 61-year-old man was found stabbed to death Monday evening at the entrance to a house in a moshav by the sea.

Few details are available thus far. The man was discovered by a passerby lying at the entrance to the house with multiple stab wounds.


Magen David Adom emergency medical personnel rushed to the scene but were unable to save the man, who died from his wounds.

It is not yet clear who attacked him, or the motivation for the attack.

Founded in 1932, Moshav Avichail is located in the Sharon region, about four kilometers north of Netanya along the Mediterranean coast. It is considered a luxury living community, with homes that include agricultural plots that are priced from approximately $1 million and up.
