Thousands of Jews prayed Sunday at sunrise on “Hoshana Raba”, the last day of the seven-day Sukkot holiday and the eve of Simchat Torah.
Outside of Israel, Jews follow Hoshana Raba with Shemini Atzeret (eight day) and celebrate Simchat Torah the following day.
