Police in New York have been searching for 17-year-old Tzvi Hersh Stolzenberg, a Brooklyn resident who has been missing since the end of Yom Kippur last Wednesday night.
The officers are being assisted by volunteers from Shomrim, Jewish patrols in hassidic and hareidi-religious neighborhoods who, among other things, help locate missing people.
Stolzenberg was last seen on Wednesday night walking near his home in Kensington, but has not been heard from or seen since.
Pictures of Stolzenberg have been distributed in the area, and the local hareidi community has been asked to help locate him. A command center has been established on Coney Island which will provide updates on the search as it continues.
