Israel Ambassador to the United Nations Ron Prosor reportedly stormed out of the room Monday as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took the podium at a United Nations session.

Ahmadinejad was about to begin speaking before a forum on international law restricted to heads of state and foreign ministers when Prosor made his dramatic exit.

“There is no justice and no judge here,” Prosor said loudly to his aide as he left the room. “The leader of a outlaw state that flouts international law on a regular basis and violates the fundamental principles of the rule of law has no place here.

“It is shameful that the U.N. allows this man to speak on such an important issue,” Prosor continued.

“To allow Ahmadinejad to speak at the United Nations about the rule of law is like hiring a pyromaniac to work as a fire chief.”
