An IDF soldier suffered light wounds Tuesday when Arabs threw rocks at an IDF force in Nabi Saleh near Ramallah. The soldier was evacuated to hospital for treatment.

The force was engaged in arresting wanted suspects.

The Arabs also threw two tear gas grenades at the force, which responded with riot dispersal gear.

Overall terror statistics for August show a decline compared to the previous month: 51 events were recorded compared to 64 in July, according to the Shin Bet's monthly report.

In Judea and Samaria there were 19 terror events in August, compared with 30 in July.
