Spokesman for the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) in Gaza, Abu Mujahid, gave an interview, on Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV on March 10th, in which he admitted that Hamas grants the group complete freedom of action in the Gaza Strip, the IDF blog reported.

The host of the program asked the spokesman, “Has the Palestinian government allowed you freedom of response and opened the entire scope in front of you?”

“What I can say is that the government in Gaza didn’t prevent us from doing a thing with regard to our Resistance activity,” Abu Muhahid responded. “No one can prevent this activity.”

He continued to say, the “government in Gaza truly didn’t prevent us from responding to this aggression.”

Since Friday, March 9th, more than 190 rockets were fired onto Israel from the Gaza Strip, striking major population centers. The IDF noted that more than 1,000,000 Israelis are living under the constant threat of rocket fire. It comes as no surprise that the terrorist organization of Hamas takes no measures to prevent or ward off these attacks against Israel.

The PRC and other terrorist groups have been firing rockets into the cities of Ashdod, Beersheba, Yavne, Netivot and Ashkelon, as well as into the Eshkol and Shaar HaNegev regional councils.

Hamas has been systematically executing Fatah supporters or any other that may pose a threat to their leadership since 2007.  They use their reign of terror in the Gaza Strip as a means of wreaking havoc on Israelis, all the while blaming the terrorist activities on other groups that they enable and support.

“By allowing the PRC to operate as an ostensibly independent group, Hamas is able to carry out terror attacks against Israelis while maintaining an official stance of ‘restraint,’” the IDF stated.
