Israel is hosting the 18th International Mediterranean Tourism Market show. Officials says tourism in Israel is booming – and will get even better.
”The situation is very good,” Tourism Ministry Director General Oren Drori told Arutz Sheva TV.
He said last year’s figure show that the number of tourists to Israel matched the previous record, which he expects to be passed this year.
“Our main motive is that this is the Holy Land,” Drori added. “But is also takes hard work and marketing that bear fruit in the end. People show more confidence in Israel as their destination.”
Drori noted that the ministry also targets specific groups, explaining that not all tourists to Israel are religious.
