Pop Star’s Preacher Dad Rants on ‘Money Jews,’ Collects Cash
Anti-Semitism is alive and well Ohio, where preacher Keith Hudson, father of pop star Kate Perry, ranted against Jews, pleasing hundreds of followers who promptly passed around the plate for contributions to him and his wife.
“You know how to make the Jew jealous? Have some money, honey,” he preached.
"You go to LA and they own all the Rolex and diamond places. Walk down a part of LA where we live and it is so rich it smells. You ever smell rich? They are all Jews, hallelujah. Amen."
As for the money Hudson received after the sermon, he said, "We live by the Gospel, not off anyone else, even though you may say 'You are the parents of Katy Perry, you must be rich.' No, she is, I am not, hallelujah."
In his sermon, he also related to his daughter, who recently divorced from Russell Brand. “People say 'How is it you have a daughter raised in the church and she sang 'I kissed a girl and liked it'? I say 'I don't know.’ I'm sure Katy is trending on the Internet just to get you into church tonight.”
It was Hudson’s first sermon since his daughter announced the divorce.
