Arutz Sheva Internet launched a Russian language website today (Monday), featuring news, radio, video reports and targeted content from the Arutz Sheva communication network.

The website will deal with Israeli diplomacy, politics, defense, sport, science, Judaism, business and economy, culture, health and technology, with an eye to matters that interest the Russian-speaking public.

Uzi Baruch, Editor in Chief of Arutz Sheva, explained: "The new website is part of Arutz Sheva's communications network, which also operates websites in the Hebrew language, in English and in French, and a weekly magazine that is Zionist and nationalistic in spirit. We are certain that the new website will provide solutions for a large segment of the populace in Israel and abroad, with a new angle on events in the Israeli and Jewish world."

The website's content editor, Yitzchak Halfon, said: "We aspire to be a unifying platform for that important and meaningful sector and provide it with information and content from both the Jewish and the general angles."

The new website can be experienced at www.israel7.ru and www.israel7.co.il .
