As President Barack Obama gave his speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, a pro-Israel rally was taking place outside.

One of the participants in the rally was a Palestinian Authority Arab named Mazen, who also came to demonstrate in support of Israel.

Wearing a white shirt which read “shalom, peace, salam,” Mazen told Arutz Sheva that he was born in 1971 in Ramallah “in the nation of Israel.”

“I come here today to stand before my Jewish brothers, to stand in front of the United Nations, to stand for Israel and to tell Israel how much I love it,” he said, adding that he came “to tell Israel, as a Palestinian Christian believer: I’m not your enemy. I love you.”

“I will continue to pray for Israel and support Israel,” said Mazen.
