As the summer vacation drew to a close this week, children from Judea, Samaria and from the evacuated communities of Gush Katif were treated to a special fun day. The activities were sponsored by the Gush Katif Museum and the Mishkefet organization.
"The Gush Katif Museum and Mishkefet want to finish the summer vacation for the thousands of children in Judea, Samaria, and Gush Katif with a special, free fun day, where children and their families can have fun,” Shai Gefen of the Gush Katif Museum told Arutz Sheva.
“It’s certainly a respected and important project because this public, who suffers all year long, some of them suffer from rockets and the missiles and truly guards the people of Israel, we think that they deserve a lot, and they get it on this day,” added Gefen.
He said that the main idea behind the fun day is to place Judea and Samaria and the expellees from Gush Katif at the front.
“They are the public that is most loyal to the people of Israel and to the land of Israel, and we cherish them and salute them on this day,” said Gefen.
