One Dead as Bus and Truck Collide, 31 to Hospital
Accident occurred on Highway 1 near Ben Shemen Interchange. Three in serious condition.

An accident involving an Egged passenger bus and a truck took place Tuesday morning on Highway 1, that connects Tel Aviv with Jerusalem. One person is confirmed dead.
Magen David Adom crews said they transported 31 victims of the crash to Tel Aviv-area hospitals. Two or three were said to be severely injured and unconscious, and the rest were reportedly lightly injured.
Initial reports also said that some passengers might still be trapped inside the bus.
Earlier Tuesday morning, three cars collided on Highway 77, near the Beit Rimon Junction in northern Israel. Ten people were wounded, one was in moderate condition and the rest in light condition.
In yet another accident in the Galilee between Ilaboun and Mghar, seven people were injured in a crash between two private passenger cars.
All 17 of the casualties in these two accidents were taken to Poria Hospital in Tverya (Tiberias).
