The code word for the SEAL team’s elimination of Osama Bin Laden was ”Geronimo,” that 19th century Indian warrior who had evaded the U.S. army for years.

The United States continues to celebrate the death of Bin Laden, but sharp criticism has been leveled at the choice of "Geronimo" as the code word for the leader of Al Qaeda.
