A delegation of senior Hamas terrorists arrived in Cairo Sunday evening, a source within the terror gang told the Hamas website. The report is quoted on the IMRA news monitoring organization's website.
The source said that "political wing" chief Khaled Mashaal arrived ahead of the signing ceremony of the "Palestinian reconciliation agreement" next Wednesday. He added that Mashaal would meet with a number of Egyptian officials during his stay in Cairo.
Egyptian authorities have reportedly finalized preparations for the ceremony, to which all Palestinian Authority factions were invited.
Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas, who heads the PA government in Judea and Samaria, will also attend the ceremony.
Earlier in the week, PA sources told the Al Hayat newspaper that Hamas "military" terror leaders would be leaving their offices in Syria and moving their headquarters to Gaza, but the information could not be independently confirmed.
Jordan rejected a request to host Hamas, but the sources said Egypt had agreed to allow the terrorist group to open an "interest" office in Cairo. Qatar, meanwhile, reportedly agreed to host the group's political leaders, including Khaled Mashaal.
Hamas is a terror organization that prides itself on intentionally murdering unarmed men, women and children.
