UN Secretary-General Kofi Anan\'s reception of the Nobel Peace Prize this weekend will not pass quietly. Family members of the three Israeli soldiers who were abducted and murdered by Hizbullah in October of last year will be on hand in Oslo to protest the decision to award the prize to Anan and the UN. The members of the Avitan, Souad, and Avraham families, who will meet with Kofi Anan on Sunday, maintain that the UN had a significant part in the Hizbullah abduction because its soldiers turned a blind eye to the terrorists\' preparations for the act.

Shimon Peres and Yasser Arafat, who received the Nobel Peace Prize together with Yitzchak Rabin in 1994, were invited to take part in the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Nobel Prizes. Neither Peres nor Arafat plan to show up.
