A Palestinian Authority terrorist attempted to stab a lifeguard at the Kalia beach at the Dead Sea on Wednesday. The lifeguard was lightly wounded in the attack, but managed to overpower his attacker.

The subdued terrorist was arrested and taken in for questioning. Security forces found three firebombs on his person.

The lifeguard suffered injuries to his arm. He did not require medical treatment.

On Tuesday night IDF forces arrested 11 terror suspects in Judea and Samaria. Most were arrested in the vicinity of Ramallah, while two were found northeast of Hevron.

Forces also arrested Dr. Mohammed al-Ramahi, a senior member of Hamas. Ramahi has previously spent two years in prison. He was arrested after the abduction of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit and the murder of an Israeli teenager by PA terrorists.
