The IDF held its annual celebration Wednesday for children of fallen soldiers who became Bar or Bat mitzva in the previous year. The youth and their families were invited to an event at the Neot Kedumim nature reserve.

Senior IDF brass attended the event, including IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi and IDF Chief Rabbi Avi Ronsky.

Several of the children spoke to INN TV and shared their stories and their mixed feelings at reaching Jewish adulthood without their fathers.
