It has already become an annual tradition that the Lightone company builds a giant Chanukah menorah right near the Ben Gurion airport.

The menorah is not strictly kosher because it contains no real fire, but it will contribute to one of the main commandments associated with Chanukah – Pirsumei Nissa ("publicizing the miracle") – seeing as all airborne passengers flying to and from the airport will be able to see the menorah and hopefully remember the festival of Chanukah and the miracles commemorated on this holiday.

In the following video, Israel National News speaks with Yechiel Aharoni, manager of Lightone.
