"Save Energy!" Campaign Takes to the Streets
New campaign tells Israelis: "Save not only water, but also energy."

The Ministry of Infrastructures has embarked on a new campaign to change Israelis' energy consumption habits.
The energy-efficiency campaign was kicked off on Monday in the presence of Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau and Ministry Director-General Sha'ul Tzemach. The campaign concentrates on electricity thriftiness, a public information campaign, new regulations, and a refreshening of old guidelines.
The campaign is being run by the Government Public Relations Office, at a cost of three million shekels ($800,000). it will feature tips on how to save energy, broadcast over TV, radio and the internet.
