      Hospitalized Former Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu: Keep Praying

      A special prayer session for the recovery of Rabbi Eliyahu took place on Monday. The Rabbi himself endorsed the event.

      A special prayer session took place on Monday in the study hall of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood of Jerusalem. The participants prayed for the recovery of Rabbi Eliyahu, the former Chief Sephardic rabbi of Israel. Rabbi Eliyahu is in serious condition following recent surgery.
      The Rabbi's answer was – "Continue praying" – so we are continuing to pray
       
      IsraelNN spoke with Haim Swisa, manger of the Rabbi's office, and author Tzvi Fishman who attended the prayer. Swisa said that Rabbi Eliyahu himself endorsed the gathering in the Jerusalem synogauge.
       
      "This morning we asked the Rabbi 'what more can be done?' The Rabbi's answer was 'Continue praying' – so we are continuing to pray."
       
      For those who wish to include the Rabbi in their prayers, his Hebrew name is Rav Mordechai Tzemach ben Mazal-Tov.
