A special prayer session was held during which worshippers called for the speedy recovery of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu. Rabbi Eliyahu is currently in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit of Jerusalem's Shaarei Tzedek hospital.
The public has been asked to pray for Rabbi Mordechai Tzemach ben Mazal Tov.
