'Givatayim Settlers' bring Aid to Outposts
A group of pro-Judea and Samaria Jews from central Israel has made it their mission to help outposts grow by supplying them with furniture and replacing goods damaged in Arab attacks and IDF expulsions. The group, which calls itself “The Settlers from Givatayim,” funds its own activities.
Founder Matti Barnea recalls some of the group's latest exploits, including a visit to Havat Gilad after Arab arson seriously damaged the town, and a visit to Shvut Ami during which activists found themselves in the middle of an expulsion. He also explains the organization's name, and argues that Jews from central Israel are “the real settlers.”
