(IsraelNN.com) Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon talks about why there is a need for the Arab residents of the Palestinian Authority-controlled areas to recognize Israel as a Jewish State. Ayalon explains that Israel does not require the affirmation of any people or nation, but requests that the PA leadership tell its denizens in a very clear and concise manner that they recognize the right of the Jewish People to their own state in their historic homeland. 

This is important for the continuation of the peace process and will be a signal by the PA leadership that a two-state solution is the end of their claims, according to the deputy minister.
