Last Thursday night and Friday Israelis celebrated the reunification of Judaism's holiest city, the capital of the State of Israel, Jerusalem. This year marks the 42nd anniversary of the liberation of the Old City from Jordan during the 1967 Six-Day War.

Tourists from around the world and celebrants from as far away as Eilat traveled to the City of Gold to dance in the streets, sample the best of the city's cafes and pray at the Western Wall in the Old City.
Celebrations lasted round the clock.
