Student Shlomi Tamani, who usually learns in a classroom demolished in the attack, used to live in Gaza but was expelled with his fellow Jewish residents of the area under the 2005 “Disengagement” plan. “I actually accepted the idea to do this for the sake of peace, but now three years later with no house and no peace... and now as this area is being bombarded, this all makes me very upset,” Tamani said.
