A three-year-old Jewish boy was lightly wounded on Tuesday afternoon when a group of Palestinian Authority Arabs attacked his family's car, pelting the vehicle with heavy rocks. The attack took place at the Zif intersection near Hevron.

The toddler was treated at the scene and then taken to a nearby hospital for further care.

Earlier in the week two babies were wounded in similar attacks. An eight-month-old baby girl was moderately wounded in an attack north of Hevron, and a one-year-old baby boy was lightly wounded in a separate attack and required hospital care.

Riots, Attacks Continue, 200 Arrested

The attacks took place as Arabs rioted in Israeli towns and Palestinian Authority-controlled areas in Judea and Samaria. Police fought rioters, arresting 200 in Jerusalem and in the north.

Approximately 1,000 Arab residents of Jerusalem have taken part in violent riots protesting IDF strikes in Gaza, Jerusalem police say. Almost 100 rioters have been arrested, and several have already been indicted for rock attacks and firebombings.

Riots took place in northern Israel as well. Police arrested 107 rioters, and 93 are currently in jail. Many of those in jail are accused of throwing rocks and firebombs at cars and burning tires in intersections.

Police in northern Israel said they were speaking to Arab community leaders in an attempt to calm local youth and end the violence.
