(IsraelNN.com) A Voice of Israel government radio host asked a Gaza Belt kibbutz woman Sunday if she was not acting irresponsibly by leaving her house to work while Kassams explode. The woman responded that it is the government that is irresponsible.

Voice of Israel, whose mandate is to represent all sectors of the public, has undergone several rounds of public criticism for aiming its programming against nationalists and religious Jews. Its interviews and questions also promote a policy of appeasement and the creation of a new Arab state within Israel's current borders.

On the "It's All Talk" program, host Anat Dolev interviewed Batya Holin of Kibbutz Kfar Gaza, located less than one mile from the Gaza separation barrier. The host admitted during the program that during the Gulf War in 1991, she "almost collapsed" as Iraq attacked her Ramat Gan neighborhood, adjacent to Tel Aviv, with Scud missiles.

In response to the suggestion she is acting recklessly by living in the western Negev, Holin responded, "Yes, it is irresponsible to live here." She later told IsraelNationalNews.com, "It also is irresponsible to live anywhere else in Israel or India. It is the government that is irresponsible.

"All of the People of Israel understand what we are doing here, but the leaders do not care. Is that responsible? Tel Aviv is next," She added.

Holin said the question of whether or not it is reckless to live in Kfar Aza was "stupid" but she did not blame the radio host. She explained that Dolev's attitude is a product of a longtime government policy of trying to show as "illegitimate" Jews who lived in the Gaza area three years ago and those who now live in Gaza Belt communities

Holin said that residents of Kfar Aza, who once were stalwart Labor party followers, have taken a turn towards the nationalist perspective and "that there are voices on the kibbutz who even support Lieberman," meaning Israel Is Our Home (Yisrael Beiteinu) chairman Knesset Member Avigdor Lieberman.

She revealed that he is a cousin of the late Rabbi Meir Kahane, whose program to help Arabs leave Israel she opposed. "Now when I see 'Kahane was right' posters, I begin to realize he was right in a lot of ways," she said.
