Daniela Weiss, former longtime mayor of Kedumim, vowed to rebuild the five residential structures destroyed Monday by the Border Police at Migron, near Ofra and said that the government has declared war on the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.
Weiss was also reacting to an attack that took place on Monday morning as Border Police were demolishing the buildings. The attack began when a group of Arab men approached two Jewish youths and began pelting them with stones. They then overpowered the two youths, bound them, beat them and began dragging them away. "The evacuation in Migron, the demolition of the Federman farm, the eviction warnings in Hevron, and above all the government's recent declaration [on the subject] leave no room for any mistake," Weiss said. "A war has been declared against the Jewish community of Judea and Samaria. The establishment and expansion of hilltop communities probably bothers Defense Minister Barak," she added.
"What bothers them so much is not the legal issue," Weiss added. "What bothers them is that it turns out the nation of Israel is a great nation with a healthy spirit, and this doesn't go along well with the plans to retreat from this country."
