
At 1:00 P.M., a group of Land of Israel activists from the Im Tirzu movement arrived at the IDF checkpoint near Na'alin, singing patriotic songs. They had come to hand out food and drink to the soldiers and to express support for the construction of a security barrier at the location.

Arabs and radical anarchist sympathizers immediately began hurling rocks and insults at the Jewish group. The military responded with tear gas and stun grenades against the Arabs. A military jeep drove the Arab rioters back into the village of Na'alin. An Arab fire truck and ambulance arrived on the scene but no reports of Arab or leftist injuries could be confirmed.
Arabs also attacked an Israeli-licensed vehicle with rocks Friday near Na'alin. The vehicle was damaged but no one was hurt.
Im Tirzu is a grassroots student group which was created for strengthening the values of Zionism and Judaism within Israeli society as well as on-campus Zionist advocacy.
Na'alin is the site of near daily Arab-leftist attacks against Israeli security forces.
