Dichter met with a group of party activists in Tel Aviv on Saturday night, and commented, "We have to ask pointed questions about the way the election was held in several of the polling stations... In not a few of them, people holding official positions in Kadima were walking around - not in order to help the voting, but in order to determine its results." "How shocking it was to see this beautiful democratic process of primaries turn into something very different," Dichter said. He said there were "too many polling stations in which the voting conditions were scandalous." In the primaries, which were held ten days ago, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni defeated Transportation Minister Sha'ul Mofaz by only 431 votes, a 1.1% margin.
