(IsraelNN.com) BeTerem – The National Center for Children's Health and Safety is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create a safe world for children in Israel. As the school year begins, BeTerem wishes to remind parents there is much to beware of on the way to and from school.  INN-TV interviewed Michal Klein from BeTerem on safety matters of concern to parents as the school year begins.

BeTerem, affiliated with the American "Safe Kids" organization, has joined an international project called "I Walk to School," encouraging children in Israel to walk to school.
