Hundreds of new Jewish immigrants to Israel from the US and Canada are touching down and being welcomed at this time in a festive ceremony at Ben Gurion International Airport, outside of Tel Aviv. Click on the video player below to watch the live ceremony.
The flight of new immigrants to Israel was organized by Nefesh B’Nefesh (NBN), an organization dedicated to revitalizing aliyah (immigration to Israel) from North America and the UK.

Regarding the live broadcast of the welcome ceremony, NBN's Vice President of Operations Danny Oberman said, "We wanted to enable those close to the people making aliyah to get a better idea of the excitement and the olim [immigrants] experience upon arrival in Israel. This new technological addition will allow them to follow the arrival of their loved ones, almost as if they were there.”
Greeting the Jewish state's newest citizens are former Russian Prisoner of Zion and current Knesset Member Yuli Edelstein (Likud) as well as hundreds of flag-waving family, friends, and supporters.
