(IsraelNN.com) Yoel Yigal Ram's father has been missing for 13 years after he tried to escape Iran through the border with Israel. The family has tried to receive information about him but does not know if he is alive or dead. The Ram family is one of 12 Iranian Jewish families whose relatives went missing in Iran and have no information about their fate.

The families were distressed by the news that the deal recently reached with Hizbullah included a commitment by Israel to give Iran information about four Iranian diplomats who went missing in Lebanon several years ago.

"If we give this information to Iran, we no longer have anything to bargain with for these Jews," Ram told Israel National News.
