A Grad-type missile landed in a Moshav near the town of Netivot Sunday morning, with two others landing in open areas near Sderot. No injuries were reported.

IDF troops shot five Hamas terrorists, critically wounding two of them, in a shootout that began with mortar shell attacks on the soldiers near the Nahal Oz fueld depot crossing into Gaza.

At least one mortar shell exploded at the Gaza Belt Kibbutz Nahal Oz Saturday night. Three other shells landed on the outskirts of the community. No one was injured, and no property damage was reported.

Earlier in the day, a Kassam rocket also slammed into an area close to the community of Nahal Oz which has been the target of numerous attacks over the past year.

Also Saturday night, IDF soldiers identified hitting an armed terrorist during counterterrorism operations in northern Gaza. His condition was unknown.

Palestinian Authority terrorists fired two medium-range Grad missiles at the western Negev city of Netivot, about a half hour's drive from Be'er Sheva. Both missiles exploded at the outskirts of the city. No one was injured and no property damage was reported.

A Kassam rocket slammed into an open area in the Eshkol region, also without causing any injuries or damage. Another attempted Kassam rocket attacked failed to clear the security barrier and landed in Gaza.

At least 18 mortar shells were fired by Gaza terrorists on Friday and Saturday, including two aimed at the security barrier and 16 others fired at IDF troops. No soldiers were injured, and they returned fire.
