Two Hamas terrorists are dead and two others wounded after Israel Air Force gunners carried out an air strike in central Gaza early Monday morning, according to Palestinian Authority medical personnel.

The Hamas terrorist organization confirmed the kills.

The four were struck as they traveled in a car near the al-Bureij neighborhood of Gaza City close to the security fence, said local sources.

An IDF spokesman said only that an air strike had been carried out in central Gaza, but that no further information was available.

On Sunday, PA terrorists in Gaza launched numerous rocket attacks against Jewish communities in the western Negev.

One rocket exploded inside a factory in Ashkelon's southern industrial area Sunday afternoon, causing light damage to a storage shed. The factory was identified by Ynet as the Carlsberg Beer plant.

Earlier in the day, one rocket exploded near a kibbutz inside the territory of the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council. No one was hurt, and no damage was reported.

Two other rockets missed their target and exploded in open areas in the Eshkol region. No one was injured and no damage was reported.
