[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, October 30, 2006] Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, which published these hate cartoons, is under the complete control of the office of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice praised Abbas last month: "We have great admiration for you and your leadership…You have the strong support of the US and a personal commitment from President George Bush" (AP, October 5, 2006).
