    Long-Wanted Hamas Terrorist Nabbed By IDF

    Security forces arrested Hamas arch-terrorist Ibrahim Ginat, 47, in the village of Tzurif Tuesday night. Among those responsible for the 1997 "Apropos" cafe bombing in Tel Aviv in which 3 Israeli civilians were murdered, Ginat has been wanted by security forces for the past 8 years.



    Ginat is the last remnant of the Tzurif Hamas cell which executed multiple terror attacks between the years 1995 – 1997 including:
    • March 21st 1997 – a suicide bombing in the "Apropos" cafe in Tel Aviv.
    • September 9th 1996 – the kidnapping and murder of the 20 year old soldier Sharon Edri. Ginat had in his possession a map showing the location of the late Edri's burial site.
    • July 27th 1996 – a shooting attack in Tirosh, northwest of Bethlehem, in which 3 Israeli civilians were murdered.
    • January 16th 1996 – a shooting attack in Halhul, north of Hevron, in which 2 Israeli soldiers were killed.
    • January 9th 1996 – a shooting attack in Geffen, northwest of Bethlehem, in which 2 Israeli civilians were murdered.
    • December 9th 1995 – a shooting attack in Neveh Daniel in which 2 Israeli civilians were injured.
