(IsraelNN.com) Preliminary reports from Bat Yam’s Sun Hotel indicate the explosion heard a short time ago was caused by a blaze which erupted on the ninth floor.

The cause of the blaze and subsequent blast are unclear. There are no immediate reports of injuries.
