(IsraelNN.com) The High Court of Justice this morning rejected a petition by residents of the unauthorized outpost Givat Haroeh, near the town of Shilo, and the Amanah settlement organization against their eviction. Thus, the military is now authorized to evacuate the established Givat Haroeh neighborhood, which includes permanent dwellings.
The justices wrote in their decision that they were unconvinced that the government had made any commitment to permit the construction on Givat Haroeh, and hence, any structures there are to be considered illegal.
