(IsraelNN.com) Three suspects were released on bail in the terrorist murder case of IDF soldier Oleg Shaichat, who was murdered in July 2003. The three suspects, Israeli Arab citizens, were released on NIS 25,000 bail and are remanded to house arrest until the end of this week. Their attorney stated that when the gag order is lifted on the ongoing investigation, a great deal will become clear to the public.

The suspects insist they did not murder the soldier, explaining their confession was coerced by interrogators who used physical and psychological means against them. The three were arrested about a month following the murder, and have since reenacted the crime – now explaining this was all the result of pressure placed on them by interrogators, forcing a confession for an act they did not commit.

Their attorney, Avigdor Feldman stated that State Prosecutor Edna Arbel forced police to move forward with an indictment.
