Head of the Yesha Regional Council David Elhayani has expressed his support for draft legislation proposed by MK May Golan for the application of sovereignty over the Jordan Valley, the northern Dead Sea area, and Judea and Samaria.
"It's already possible to introduce the draft legislation for its first reading in the Knesset," Elhayani said, "without granting recognition to a Palestinian state that would pose a danger to the State of Israel. We don't have to agree to all the provisions of the American 'Deal of the Century.' We call on all members of the Knesset from nationalist parties to support this law, in order to advance the sovereignty issue and prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state."
