Update: 223 deaths from virus now confirmed, over 16,000 cases

There are currently 16,004 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Israel. This includes 8,758 people who have made a full recovery.

83 people are currently hospitalized in serious condition, and the number of fatalities has climbed to 223.
