British Airways has announced that it will dismiss around 12,000 workers out of its total staff of 42,000, due to the financial crisis in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic.
A spokesman from the airline added that the company had sustained serious losses in the past few months, and that it will be looking to cut costs across the board.
