Defense Minister Naftali Bennett visited Mount Herzl accompanied by head of the Families and Commemoration Department within the Defense Ministry Aryeh Moalem.
Bennett met the Chairperson of the Widows and Orphans Organization Tami Shelah and spoke with bereaved families.
During his visit, Bennett inaugurated a digital visitor's book at the State Memorial Hall for Israel's fallen soldiers, which marks the beginning of the "Eternal Memory" project, allowing visitors to light a candle in memory of the fallen and leave a personal letter.
