Voting has ended for Labor party members given the opportunity to decide on whether their party will join the unity government currently under formation.
More than 90% of members have voted.
Party leader Amir Peretz and senior Labor official Itzik Shmuli support entering the government, and have been promised ministerial portfolios if they do. Prominent Labor MK Merav Michaeli has called on her party's members to block the party's entrance into the government, calling such a decision "political suicide."
