The condition of the 11-year-old girl from Tiberias who is sick with coronavirus has taken a turn for the worse.
She is now in an induced coma and on a ventilator, fighting for her life. Doctors suspect that her heart has been affected.
Although children are generally considered to be less susceptible to the virus (for reasons which are as yet unclear), there have been a number of deaths of young children in the world, even without the presence of underlying conditions.
