United Hatzalah head Eli Beer, who recovered from the coronavirus said of his hospitalization in the United States: "I thought I had laryngitis; it attacks you quickly. I woke up after a month of anesthesia. The mental difficulty is greater than the medical difficulty."
In a Kan Reshet Bet interview, Beer added, "I was sure I'd leave there in a coffin."
