A report from the Department of Homeland Security, leaked to Yahoo News, reveals that sunlight destroys coronavirus relatively quickly, The Telegraph reports.
The report also cautioned that in enclosed areas where humidity is low (for instance, airplane cabins), the results might not be replicated.
Previous research has also indicated a reduced level of transmission for COVID-19 in warmer weather.
