Following an epidemiological investigation on an IDF training base near Eilat, an entire platoon has been sent into isolation, Channel 12 News reports.
On Monday, 8 soldiers were discovered to have contracted the virus and it appears that they came into contact with virtually the entire platoon in recent days. Since then, 81 soldiers have been tested for the virus and seven tested positive and were sent to a rehab facility. More tests will be performed over the coming days.
