Michael Cohen, the former personal lawyer for President Donald Trump, will serve out the remainder of his three-year sentence at home, his lawyer said last night. Cohen's lawyers had appealed to have their client's sentence shortened due to the confirmed spread of coronavirus in the New York prison where he was being held. Cohen is 53, and was originally set to be released in November 2021.
In 2018, Cohen was found guilty of making secret hush payments to various women who claimed to have been involved with President Trump, and of lying to Congress about Trump's business connections in Russia.
